Chief Prophet Derrick's calling and journey
A faithful servant of God since October 1989, Chief Prophet Derrick has dedicated his life to proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, teaching prophetic truths, and walking in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit. Discover how God prepared and anointed him to lead EKLESSIA INC. and ignite spiritual growth in believers today.
Foundational training in faith and scripture
Accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in October 1989 marked the beginning of Chief Prophet Derrick's dedicated walk of faith. From 2001 through 2009, he spent nine foundational years in the US Virgin Islands as an active student and congregation member at the Tabernacle of Praise Harvest Ministries Institute, studying under the mentorship of the late Dr. Floyd Thomas and Evangelist Harriet Thomas. Immersed in holy scripture, he was trained in spiritual warfare, pulpit ministry, discernment, research, and ministering healing and deliverance through the laying on of hands.
A divine prophetic mantle
In March 2009, Chief Prophet Derrick received a direct divine calling from God into prophetic office. Walking from 2009 through 2022 as a God-trained prophet after the order of Amos, he witnessed God's hand move mightily. In Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the Lord God Jehovah Rapha used him to pray over a bedridden woman recently awakened from a coma; through scripture, anointing, and the laying on of hands in Jesus' name, she was completely healed within six months. God continues to demonstrate that His prophets operate today with biblical authority and power.
Equipping believers at the school of the prophets
Through weekly gatherings at EKLESSIA INC. Chattanooga, Tennessee, Chief Prophet Derrick equips the body of Christ for deeper spiritual maturity. Join us every Saturday at The School of the Prophets to unlock a biblical understanding of prophetic ministry, and gather every Sunday for worship, prayer, and life-changing biblical preaching that builds your walk with Jesus Christ.
"God operates through His prophets today just as He did during the days of His prophets of old."
